For example, we provide full-service engineering and consulting services to the power and gas & oil industries through our Energy Business Unit. Our Process Solutions Unit provides engineering assistance through owner's engineering and detail design in the production of energy and chemicals from renewable feedstocks through sustainable technologies. Our experience encompasses developing biomass processes, including cellulosics, that convert industrial, agricultural and municipal feedstocks into ethanol, biodiesel, biogas (methane), commodity chemicals, and other saleable products and byproducts.
Harris Group provides complete due diligence and independent engineering reviews, through our Financial Consulting Unit, providing lenders, investors, developers, and owners' assistance with the development, financing, acquisition, divestiture, and monitoring of industrial facilities. A recent example is the 180-MGY Hawkeye Ethanol Project Financing Project, a Project Finance Magazine North America Renewables Deal of the year in 2005.
