Grimes Way Central Steam Plant

Project Location:Pullman, WA

The Grimes Way Central Steam Plant is a new brownfield energy facility on the Pullman, Washington campus of Washington State University. The facility includes three packaged boilers equipped with dual-fuel, low-NOX burners and all the support equipment necessary to generate heating steam to the campus. Three (3) 1250 kW emergency/standby generators were installed to provide backup and emergency power to portions of the campus, and allow self-generation, when economical.
