Cellulose Recycling Recovery

Harris Group Inc. has completed detailed design for the initial installation of a new process for recovering papermaking fiber and other materials from the municipal solid waste stream. The commercial operation is planned for a municipal recycling facility in Anaheim, California, which processes about 6,000 tpd of solid waste from 55 southern California municipalities and is expected to startup in the second half of 2005. HGI’s scope including process, civil/structural, electrical, mechanical and control systems design as well as purchasing and start-up support.
