Laramie River Station Spare Parts Study

Laramie River Station is a 1650 MW coal fired plant, three units at 550 MW each, which started up in the early 1980s. Basin Electric retained Harris Group to perform a study of their spare parts compliment, their maintenance and spare parts management system and the plant’s on-line redundancy for the purpose of recommending procedures and/or added spare parts in order to minimize significant and long term outages.
