The Southern Trails Pipeline Project involves the conversion of an existing crude oil pipeline to gas service. The 700-mile pipeline transports 120 mmscfd of natural gas from the Four Corners area near Farmington, NM to customers in Arizona and Southern California. HGI provided detailed engineering and design of all seven compressor stations, which consisted of Ariel Compressors driven by Caterpillar TALE engines.

Shiprock Station
A grassroots (2800 hp) compressor station consisting of one high speed engine compressor package and auxiliaries.

Red Mesa Station
A grassroots (2300 hp) compressor station consisting of one high speed engine compressor package and auxiliaries.

Cameron Station
A grassroots (2000 hp) compressor station consisting of one high speed engine compressor package and auxiliaries.

Mohave Valley Station
A grassroots (3500 hp) compressor station consisting of two high speed engine compressor packages and auxiliaries.

Danby Station
A grassroots (3400 hp) compressor station consisting of one high speed engine compressor package and auxiliaries.

Morongo Valley Station
A grassroots (4400 hp) compressor station consisting of one high speed engine compressor package and auxiliaries.

Beaumont Station
A grassroots (2000 hp) compressor station consisting of two high speed engine compressor package and auxiliaries.
