Mechanical Engineer

The Denver Office of Harris Group Inc. has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with relevant experience in gas compression and processing projects. Successful candidates will have eight (8) plus years of experience in mechanical equipment design of gas compressors, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps and other gas processing equipment.

Responsibilities include preparation of construction design documents including system and equipment sizing/selection, specifications and datasheets, bid evaluations, engineering databases/lists (equipment, piping, valve) and coordination of vendor design submittals.

Successful candidates need to be self-starters and have demonstrated project experience resolving technical and field construction/start-up issues, managing discipline budgets and schedules and have knowledge of current codes, standards and practices.

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering is required as well as effective communication and presentation skills. Relevant field experience and Professional Engineer’s license are pluses. Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
