Structural Designer

Harris Group Inc., a national engineering firm has an opening for a Structural Designer in its Portland, Oregon office. Candidates should have the following experience:

· Minimum 5 years experience preparing CAD structural drawings for large industrial facilities using structural steel, reinforced concrete and masonry as the materials of construction.
· Coordinating with other design disciplines.
· Coordinating drawings with specifications.
· Reviewing drawings for compliance with CAD standards.
· 3-D cad experience is a plus.

Five years experience in AutoCAD drafting for industrial facilities required. Our preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability and willingness to learn from others. They will also be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
