Structural Designer

Harris Group Inc., a national engineering firm, has an opening for a Senior Structural Designer to work in the Atlanta, Georgia office. The candidate should have the following experience:

· Minimum 10 years experience preparing CAD structural drawings for large industrial facilities using structural steel, reinforced concrete and masonry as the materials of construction.
· Previous experience working with and supervising other CAD designers.
· Coordinating with other design disciplines.
· Coordinating drawings with specifications.
· Reviewing drawings for compliance with CAD standards.
· Cadworx experience.

Ten years experience in AutoCAD drafting for industrial facilities is required. Our preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability and willingness to learn from others. They will also be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. They will be able to work with minimal direction from the engineering group.
